Every woman has a moment in her life when she needs a change. These changes may involve a new life role, a new position at work, a change in physique, or a new relationship. Often, they are also associated with the need to transform one's wardrobe.
I have nothing to wear - how to organize your closet
The problem of not having clothes that fit all situations in our lives is faced not only by women who decide to make changes, but also by those who have a poorly composed wardrobe. Today, in a few steps, I will discuss how to create your own "tailor-made" closet that meets your needs.
1. Base
Creating the right base is essential for building functional outfits. The base consists of clothes that combine perfectly with other garments of varying levels of formality. An example could be cigarette trousers, which at first glance seem to be very elegant pants suitable only for a shirt and high heels. However, it turns out that they also fit very well with casual options, such as a basic women's t-shirt, a denim jacket, a sweatshirt, or sneakers. A leather biker jacket can also be a base, which you can successfully wear both to a party and for a walk. What goes into your base wardrobe should strictly match your personality, lifestyle, and silhouette. If, for example, there is no strict dress code at your work and you do not identify with an elegant style, you will not need many shirts or blazers. In that case, your base will consist of items from the first suggestion, i.e., jeans, t-shirts, and sports jackets. The basic function of a base is to create a "background" for other clothes that have a characteristic cut or pattern.

2. Style
Having already built a foundation in the form of a wardrobe base, it is time to think about what clothes fit your style perfectly. Defining your style will help you compose outfits more easily. To discover your style, consider which clothes you feel best in, which ones you like, and which ones you buy and wear most often. I encourage you to write down all your observations so you know exactly what fits your style and what does not.

3. Openness to the new
When creating a wardrobe from scratch, it is important to be open to solutions other than those you have used so far. When you go shopping, try to go out of your comfort zone by trying on clothes that you wouldn't have paid attention to before. Look for new inspiration on various blogs, Pinterest, or Instagram.
4. Buy responsibly
Often the culprit of the problem called "I have nothing to wear" is impulse buying. Having random clothes in your closet that often don't go together, bought just because there was a sale, unfortunately will not allow you to create a consistent and stylish wardrobe for every occasion. The clothes you intend to buy should be thought-out, functional, and compatible with the rest of your items.
5. Observation
During the changes taking place in our lives, it is important to observe whether we have chosen the right direction. An example from life could be a promotion. At such a moment, you especially want to be well-perceived by your new colleagues. For this reason, you decided to wear elegant dresses more often, but after an hour you dream of taking it off... What to do in this situation? Look for a solution in which you will feel a bit better. You will certainly be able to find a way. Here, the previously mentioned cigarette trousers will be a good solution. You can combine them with a classic silk shirt. If the underwear shows through, be sure to wear an invisible women's T-shirt under the shirt. Above all – remember that it is not about dressing up as someone we are not, but dressing in accordance with yourself.

As you can see, the problem of "I have nothing to wear" is very complex, but its main cause is the lack of consistency in clothes and an appropriate base. I assure you that knowing how to combine clothes into a whole will significantly improve your "wardrobe life." Let me know if I helped you solve this problem a bit!
